A unique estate that combines sports and the enjoyment of traditional food and good wine, while resting in a natural setting under the sun. Framed by the Sierra Pintada and vegetation typical of the region, Algodon Wine Estates stands 17 km from San Rafael, Mendoza. Of the 830 hectares that make up the estate, 120 are planted with vineyards, olive groves and antique walnut groves.

The landscape is combined with a 9-hole golf course (an additional 9 are expected to open this year).

Plans to build a large tennis center, directed by José Luis Clerc, will include two grass courts, a hard court, seven of clay, and a central court with seating for 700 spectators.

A fitness center and spa is also intended for the future.

Lovers of horses and the King’s sport will enjoy two polo fields, a practice field and a jumping arena.

Just off the pool is the hotel lodge with 8 suites, spread over two old inns. One, built in 1921, was restored respecting its original design of adobe walls and cane ceilings.

In the winery, located in the heart of the estate, premium wines are produced in limited quantities, including: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Bonarda, Chardonnay, Malbec Rosé and a special Gran Reserva.

The restaurant's specialty is Argentine gourmet cuisine (grilled and roasted seasonal dishes in a clay oven).

You can buy lots and build houses among orchards and vineyards, all overlooking the golf course or polo fields.

The winery offers custom barrels, where you can create your own wines in French or American oak barrels, which yield 290 bottles. The wines are labeled with the owner's name, brand or family crest.
