In the Mendoza Province wine country of Argentina, you’ll find Algodon Wine Estates. This is hotel, vineyard, golf course, and resort combined to create a total vacation experience for those who wish to indulge in some of the finest Argentina travel the region has to offer. It’s also close to Las Leñas, one of the top ski regions in South America from June to October. Argentina wine has gained international reputation for its quality, and Algodon Wine Estates puts guests in the heart of the region, on the grounds of a premier vineyard. It’s a winery hotel, which will become more common in Argentina, as they are in France.

The Estates are actually historic buildings built to remind guests of ranch houses in the traditional Argentine style. They are rustic looking from the outside, and blend nicely with the wine country ranch feel of the grounds. But inside, it’s all about modern luxury and style. There are private patios, from which you can view the private golf course which winds its way throughout the estate grounds.

There’s a restaurant, surrounded by olive groves, and of course wines are from the Algodon winery. The Estates are connected to the Algodon Mansion, a boutique hotel in Buenos Aires. There are plans for another Algodon property in Bariloche, with trout fishing.

The Estates are located in the town of San Rafael, Mendoza. Things to do in the area include whitewater rafting on the Atuel River, and visiting other wineries of the Mendoza region.
