Located in San Rafael, Mendoza, AWE offers luxury accommodations for travelers, as well as the opportunity to actually own a piece of the estate's vineyard and a custom wine label. The 2,050-acre grounds already boast two guest lodges and an 18-hole golf course, and additional plans call for a tennis academy developed with Argentine tennis champion Jose Luis Clerc, a high-end hotel, more than 300 private home sites, a polo field, an equestrian center and a luxury spa & fitness center. Recent distinctions include a "Best Buy" award for the estates' Cabernet Sauvignon by Wines of Argentina and a 90 point rating of the estates' 2004 Malbec by wine personality Anthony Dias Blue. AWE was also named Global winner for Best Accommodation at the Great Wine Capitals 2010 Best of Wine Tourism Awards.
